Wood TileReal wood looks for your kitchen or bathroom
We at Carpet One Mentor are your neighborhood tile experts, so we know exactly what homeowners want when they choose new tile. One of the frequent requests we hear, for example, is tile that looks like wood. Fortunately, we offer a great selection of wood tile in our Mentor, OH showroom.
Wood tile has become super-popular in home settings because, as you can probably imagine, it combines the looks of wood with the performance of tile. Because of advancements in digital printing technologies, wood tile looks almost exactly like real wood. In fact, there are a variety of wood looks from which to choose, including maple, cherry, and oak, among others. Plus, for more authentic looks, wood tiles are available in plank sizes. Nonetheless, wood tile, although it looks like wood, does feature a real tile construction, so it can handle moisture, heat, and foot traffic. As a result, wood tile gives you the opportunity to add real wood looks to kitchens, bathrooms, family rooms, and other areas where moisture and foot traffic are issues.
We’re happy to offer a variety of wood tile options, including styles from Shaw’s Bel Terra collection. Let’s take a look at two of our popular Bel Terra styles:
Glazebrook: Glazebrook tiles are offered in three different wood looks, and they come in 6”x24” planks. Also, they feature a special texture that even feels like real wood. But, Glazebrook tiles are made from glazed porcelain, so they can handle virtually every setting. They are even suitable for outdoor settings such as patios.
Danilo: Like Glazebrook, Danilo tiles feature a glazed porcelain construction, so they can handle indoor and outdoor settings. They, however, are available in five different wood looks, and they come in 6”x36” planks. Danilo tiles offer an appearance that is more rustic than that of Glazebrook tiles.
